New Mexico High School Basketball - Raton tipped by West Las Vegas

The West Las Vegas Dons basketball team scored 59 points and held the host Raton Tigers to 56 in the Dons league triumph on Tuesday.
The Dons now sport a 12-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host Santa Fe Prep for a 3A District 2 contest on Friday, February 10. West Las Vegas will meet a Blue Griffins team coming off a 51-39 non-league win over East Mountain (Sandia Park, NM). The Blue Griffins record now stands at 10-10.
The Tigers (6-16) will now prepare for their contest against Santa Fe Indian (Santa Fe, NM). The Braves enter the 3A District 2 contest with a 15-8 record. In their last contest, Santa Fe Indian was nudged by Robertson (Las Vegas, NM), 65-56, in a league contest.
