The Aspen Skiers basketball team (Aspen, CO), was overwhelmed 37-11 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the visiting Basalt Longhorns (Basalt, CO)
The Longhorns now possess a 6-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Grand Junction for a non-league battle on Thursday, January 19. Basalt will confront a Tigers team coming off a 46-18 non-league loss to Eagle Valley (Gypsum, CO). The Tigers record now stands at 0-12.
The Skiers (0-11) will now prepare for their battle against North Fork (Hotchkiss, CO). The Miners come into the 3A Western Slope battle with a 5-2 record. In their last battle, North Fork trounced Roaring Fork (Carbondale, CO), 56-41, in a league battle.
