In Wednesday's non-league match, the host Basalt Longhorns basketball team scored a decisive 50-16 triumph over the Aspen Skiers.
In their next game, the Longhorns meet the Delta Panthers (Delta, CO) in a 4A Western Slope match, on Friday, February 17. Basalt will attempt to move on its 12-10 season record. The Panthers enter the match with a 15-5 record after their 69-38 league win over Coal Ridge (New Castle, CO).
