In Tuesday's league outing, the Brewer Bears (Fort Worth, TX) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Granbury Pirates (Granbury, TX), by a count of 64-32.
The Bears (21-3) will now prepare for their outing against Rider (Wichita Falls, TX). The Raiders go into the 5A Region I District 5 outing with a 0-20 record. In their last outing, Rider was crushed by Aledo (Aledo, TX), 56-32, in a league outing.
The Pirates now hold a 18-10 record. They play next when they host Azle for a 5A Region I District 5 outing on Friday, January 20. Granbury will clash with a Hornets squad coming off a 50-34 league loss to Brewer (Fort Worth, TX). The Hornets record now stands at 19-8.
