The Brewer Bears basketball team (Fort Worth, TX), was toppled 58-41 in Tuesday's league battle with the host Granbury Pirates (Granbury, TX)
The Pirates now possess a 11-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Azle for a 5A Region I District 5 battle on Friday, December 16. Granbury will confront a Hornets team coming off a 43-25 non-league win over Lake Country Christian (Fort Worth, TX). The Hornets record now stands at 13-5.
The Bears (11-3) will now prepare for their battle against Rider (Wichita Falls, TX). The Raiders come into the 5A Region I District 5 battle with a 0-13 record. In their last battle, Rider was toppled by Aledo (Aledo, TX), 62-43, in a league battle.
