Texas High School Basketball - Jones trounces Calhoun

The Jones Trojans (Beeville, TX) basketball crushed the host Calhoun Sandcrabs (Port Lavaca, TX), 67-25 in Tuesday's league test.

The Trojans (21-4) will now prepare for their test against Ingleside (Ingleside, TX). The Mustangs go into the 4A Region IV District 30 test with a 16-11 record. In their last test, Ingleside was trounced by West Oso (Corpus Christi, TX), 54-35, in a league test.

The Sandcrabs now own a 2-18 record. They play next when they travel to Ingleside for a 4A Region IV District 30 test on Tuesday, January 24. Calhoun will encounter a Mustangs squad coming off a 62-32 league loss to Jones (Beeville, TX). The Mustangs record now stands at 16-12.
