The Central Lions (Carrollton, GA) basketball crushed the visiting Cedartown Bulldogs (Cedartown, GA), 50-22 in Tuesday's league test.
The Lions (10-8) will now prepare for their test against Northwest Whitfield (Tunnel Hill, GA). The Bruins go into the AAAA Region 7 test with a 10-7 record. In their last test, Northwest Whitfield walloped Sonoraville (Calhoun, GA), 44-42, in a league test.
The Bulldogs now own a 0-15 record. They play next when they host Southeast Whitfield County for a AAAA Region 7 test on Friday, January 20. Cedartown will encounter a Raiders squad coming off a 51-29 league loss to Heritage (Ringgold, GA). The Raiders record now stands at 2-12.
