The Cedartown Bulldogs basketball team (Cedartown, GA), was overwhelmed 49-22 in Friday's league battle with the visiting Central Lions (Carrollton, GA)

The Lions now possess a 14-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host Northwest Whitfield for a AAAA Region 7 battle on Tuesday, February 7. Central will battle a Bruins team coming off a 56-44 league loss to Sonoraville (Calhoun, GA). The Bruins record now stands at 13-10.

The Bulldogs (0-20) will now prepare for their battle against Rockmart (Rockmart, GA). The Yellowjackets come into the non-league battle with a 6-17 record. In their last battle, Rockmart was overwhelmed by North Murray (Chatsworth, GA), 54-49, in a league battle.
