Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Fort Worth Christian Cardinals (North Richland Hills, TX) and the host Southwest Christian School Eagles (Fort Worth, TX), saw Fort Worth Christian's basketball squad hold off Southwest Christian School by a count of 45-42.

With the victory, Fort Worth Christian upgrades its record to 12-15 on the campaign. The Cardinals host Liberty Christian (Argyle, TX) to play the Warriors in a TAPPS 5A District 1 challenge on Friday, January 20. The Warriors come into the challenge with a record of 20-5. Liberty Christian won 56-19 in their recent league challenge against Midland Christian (Midland, TX)

Next up, the Eagles play the Trinity Christian Trojans (Addison, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 20. Southwest Christian School will attempt to upgrade on its 8-12 season record. The Trojans come into the challenge with a 8-15 record after their 42-12 league loss to John Paul II (Plano, TX).
