Fort Worth Christian Cardinals (North Richland Hills, TX) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Southwest Christian School Eagles (Fort Worth, TX), 57-41 in a league bout.

With the victory, Fort Worth Christian upgrades its record to 14-17 on the campaign. The Cardinals travel to Liberty Christian (Argyle, TX) to play the Warriors in a TAPPS 5A District 1 bout on Tuesday, February 7. The Warriors come into the bout with a record of 23-5. Liberty Christian won 56-15 in their recent league bout against Midland Christian (Midland, TX)
