In Tuesday's league outing, the Goliad Tigers (Goliad, TX) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Odem Owls (Odem, TX), by a margin of 73-32.

The Tigers (15-11) will now prepare for their outing against Taft (Taft, TX). The Greyhounds go into the 3A Region IV District 29 outing with a 5-23 record. In their last outing, Taft was trounced by Aransas Pass (Aransas Pass, TX), 68-10, in a league outing.

The Owls now own a 5-16 record. They play next when they travel to George West for a 3A Region IV District 29 outing on Friday, January 20. Odem will clash with a Longhorns squad coming off a 50-33 league loss to Mathis (Mathis, TX). The Longhorns record now stands at 14-13.
