The Lakeland Eagles basketball team (White Lake, MI), dropped 49-38 in Tuesday's league battle with the visiting South Lyon Lions (South Lyon, MI)
The Lions now possess a 5-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Mott for a Lakes Valley battle on Friday, January 20. South Lyon will battle a Corsairs team coming off a 56-14 league loss to Walled Lake Northern (Commerce, MI). The Corsairs record now stands at 2-8.
The Eagles (6-5) will now prepare for their battle against Mercy (Farmington Hills, MI). The Marlins come into the non-league battle with a 11-0 record. In their last battle, Mercy prevailed over Regina (Warren, MI), 54-19, in a league battle.
