Alabama High School Basketball - Parker knocked off by Minor

The Minor Tigers basketball team scored 63 points and held the host Parker Thundering Herd to 54 in the Tigers league triumph on Tuesday.

The Tigers now sport a 11-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Homewood for a 6A Area 9 contest on Friday, January 20. Minor will meet a Patriots team coming off a 57-26 non-league win over Oak Mountain (Birmingham, AL). The Patriots record now stands at 19-6.

The Thundering Herd (16-4) will now prepare for their contest against Jackson-Olin (Birmingham, AL). The Mustangs enter the 6A Area 9 contest with a 0-7 record. In their last contest, Jackson-Olin was outscored by Parker (Birmingham, AL), 62-19, in a league contest.
