With the victory, Northwest Whitfield improves its record to 10-7 on the campaign. The Bruins travel to Central (Carrollton, GA) to play the Lions in a AAAA Region 7 challenge on Friday, January 20. The Lions come into the challenge with a record of 10-8. Central won 50-22 in their recent league challenge against Cedartown (Cedartown, GA)

Next up, the Phoenix play the Heritage Generals (Ringgold, GA) in a AAAA Region 7 challenge, on Friday, January 20. Sonoraville will attempt to improve on its 16-3 season record. The Generals come into the challenge with a 8-9 record after their 51-29 league win over Southeast Whitfield County (Dalton, GA).
