Georgia High School Basketball - Northwest Whitfield knocked off by Sonoraville

The Sonoraville Phoenix basketball team scored 56 points and held the visiting Northwest Whitfield Bruins to 44 in the Phoenix league triumph on Friday.
The Phoenix now sport a 20-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Heritage for a AAAA Region 7 contest on Tuesday, February 7. Sonoraville will meet a Generals team coming off a 54-21 league win over Southeast Whitfield County (Dalton, GA). The Generals record now stands at 13-9.
The Bruins (13-10) will now prepare for their contest against Central (Carrollton, GA). The Lions enter the AAAA Region 7 contest with a 14-11 record. In their last contest, Central ran past Cedartown (Cedartown, GA), 49-22, in a league contest.
