Patagonia Lobos (Patagonia, AZ) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Valley Union Blue Devils (Elfrida, AZ), 41-29 in a league bout.

With the victory, Patagonia upgrades its record to 7-7 on the campaign. The Lobos travel to Duncan (Duncan, AZ) to play the Wildkats in a 1A Tucson Southeast bout on Thursday, January 19. The Wildkats come into the bout with a record of 7-12. Duncan lost 47-24 in their recent league bout against Baboquivari (Sells, AZ)

Next up, the Blue Devils play the Tombstone Yellow Jackets (Tombstone, AZ) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, January 18. Valley Union will attempt to upgrade on its 1-9 season record. The Yellow Jackets come into the bout with a 3-10 record after their 43-29 league loss to Bisbee (Bisbee, AZ).
