The Vasquez Mustangs (Acton, CA) basketball knocked off the host Santa Clarita Christian Cardinals (Canyon Country, CA), 52-33 in Tuesday's league test.

The Mustangs (8-6) will now prepare for their test against Lancaster Baptist (Lancaster, CA). The Eagles go into the Heritage test with a 4-5 record. In their last test, Lancaster Baptist went down by Trinity Classical Academy (Valencia, CA), 44-16, in a league test.

The Cardinals now own a 2-12 record. They play next when they travel to Desert Christian for a Heritage test on Thursday, January 19. Santa Clarita Christian will encounter a Knights squad coming off a 39-35 league loss to St. Monica Academy (Montrose, CA). The Knights record now stands at 5-9.
