The Veritas School Lions topped the visiting Spirit HomeSchool Warhawks basketball team by a final score of 31-20 in Tuesday's non-league game.

In their next game, the Lions face the Walsingham Academy Trojans (Williamsburg, VA) in a non-league game, on Thursday, January 19. Veritas School will attempt to move on its 7-2 season record. The Trojans enter the game with a 8-4 record after their 35-32 non-league win over Isle of Wight Academy (Isle of Wight, VA).

With the defeat, Spirit HomeSchool moves to 1-5 on the year. The Warhawks travel to Fredericksburg Victory (Fredericksburg, VA) to face the Victory in a VHSAA game on Saturday, February 4. The Victory enter the game with a record of 5-5.
