Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the Veritas School Lions (Richmond, VA) and the visiting Spirit HomeSchool Warhawks (Richmond, VA), saw Veritas School's basketball squad knock off Spirit HomeSchool by a count of 27-12.

With the victory, Veritas School upgrades its record to 12-6 on the campaign. The Lions travel to Covenant (Charlottesville, VA) to play the Eagles in a VISAA Blue Ridge challenge on Wednesday, February 15. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 13-10. Covenant won 50-2 in their recent non-league challenge against Chatham Hall (Chatham, VA)
