The Eisenhower Eagles basketball team scored 66 points and held the host Aldine Mustangs to 35 in the Eagles league triumph on Wednesday.
The Eagles now sport a 5-20 record. They put it on the line next when they host Nimitz for a 6A Region II District 14 contest on Saturday, January 20. Eisenhower will battle a Cougars team coming off a 49-45 league loss to Westfield (Houston, TX). The Cougars record now stands at 15-11.
The Mustangs (0-23) will now prepare for their contest against Westfield (Houston, TX). The Mustangs enter the 6A Region II District 14 contest with a 15-5 record. In their last contest, Westfield triumphed over Nimitz (Houston, TX), 49-45, in a league contest.
