California High School Basketball - Desert Mirage ripped by Cathedral City

January 17, 2024: Thermal, CA 92274

The Cathedral City Lions basketball team scored 63 points and held the host Desert Mirage RAMS to 19 in the Lions league triumph on Wednesday.

The Lions now sport a 3-18 record. They put it on the line next when they host Indio for a Desert Valley contest on Friday, January 19. Cathedral City will battle a Rajahs team coming off a 91-45 league win over Coachella Valley (Thermal, CA). The Rajahs record now stands at 14-5.

The RAMS (2-15) will now prepare for their contest against Desert Hot Springs (Desert Hot Springs, CA). The Golden Eagles enter the Desert Valley contest with a 4-11 record. In their last contest, Desert Hot Springs triumphed over Banning (Banning, CA), 63-46, in a league contest.
