Cathedral City Lions (Cathedral City, CA) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Desert Mirage RAMS (Thermal, CA), 59-32 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Cathedral City upgrades its record to 2-12 on the season. The Lions travel to Royal (Simi Valley, CA) to play the Highlanders in a non-league bout on Wednesday, December 27. The Highlanders go into the bout with a record of 14-2. Royal won 69-29 in their recent non-league bout against Nordhoff (Ojai, CA)

Next up, the RAMS play the Rancho Mirage Rattlers (Rancho Mirage, CA) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 28. Desert Mirage will attempt to upgrade on its 2-9 season record. The Rattlers go into the bout with a 11-2 record after their 58-41 non-league win over Coachella Valley (Thermal, CA).
