Washington, DC High School Basketball - Georgetown Day ripped by Sidwell Friends

January 17, 2024: Washington, DC 20007

The Sidwell Friends Quakers basketball team scored 68 points and held the host Georgetown Day Mighty Hoppers to 34 in the Quakers league triumph on Wednesday.

The Quakers now sport a 12-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Fairfax Christian for a non-league contest on Sunday, January 21.

The Mighty Hoppers (6-9) will now prepare for their contest against Potomac School (McLean, VA). The Panthers enter the VISAA Division I contest with a 7-11 record. In their last contest, Potomac School triumphed over St. James (Hagerstown, MD), 74-52, in a league contest.
