North Carolina High School Basketball - Union Pines overwhelmed by Hoke County

The Hoke County Bucks basketball team scored 82 points and restricted the host Union Pines Vikings to 55 in the Bucks league victory on Wednesday.
The Bucks now sport a 10-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Pinecrest for a 3A/4A Sandhills contest on Friday, January 19. Hoke County will battle a Patriots team coming off a 48-44 league loss to Scotland (Laurinburg, NC). The Patriots record now stands at 7-6.
The Vikings (9-6) will now prepare for their contest against Southern Lee (Sanford, NC). The Cavaliers come into the 3A/4A Sandhills contest with a 14-1 record. In their last contest, Southern Lee triumphed over Fairmont (Fairmont, NC), 58-43, in a non-league contest.
