The Santa Rosa Warriors (Santa Rosa, TX) basketball knocked off the visiting IDEA Weslaco Pike Mavericks (Weslaco, TX), 63-53 in Wednesday's league test.

The Warriors (15-12) will now prepare for their test against Rio Hondo (Rio Hondo, TX). The Bobcats go into the 3A Region IV District 32 test with a 15-9 record. In their last test, Rio Hondo notched a victory over Monte Alto (Monte Alto, TX), 92-54, in a league test.

The Mavericks now own a 7-12 record. They play next when they host IDEA Riverview for a 3A Region IV District 32 test on Friday, January 19.
