With the win, Port Arthur Memorial upgrades its record to 18-8 on the season. The Titans travel to Goose Creek Memorial (Baytown, TX) to play the Patriots in a 5A Region III District 17 bout on Friday, January 19. The Patriots go into the bout with a record of 10-15.

Next up, the Ganders play the Barbers Hill Eagles (Mt. Belvieu, TX) in a 5A Region III District 17 bout, on Friday, January 19. Lee will attempt to upgrade on its 14-11 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 23-3 record after their 70-61 league win over Crosby (Crosby, TX).
