Port Arthur Memorial will confront a Rangers team coming off a 89-56 non-league win over Chavez (Houston, TX). The Rangers record now stands at 4-13.

The Ganders (13-7) will now prepare for their battle against Port Neches-Groves (Port Neches, TX). The Indians come into the 5A Region III District 17 battle with a 10-7 record. In their last battle, Port Neches-Groves beat Hudson (Lufkin, TX), 51-48, in a non-league battle.
