California High School Basketball - Prospect thwarted by Piedmont Hills

The Prospect Panthers basketball team (Saratoga, CA), dropped 70-57 in Wednesday's league battle with the visiting Piedmont Hills Pirates (San Jose, CA)

The Pirates now possess a 7-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Willow Glen for a Blossom Valley - Santa Teresa West battle on Friday, January 19. Piedmont Hills will confront a Rams team coming off a 49-43 league loss to Westmont (Campbell, CA). The Rams record now stands at 7-10.

The Panthers (8-9) will now prepare for their battle against Pioneer (San Jose, CA). The Mustangs come into the Blossom Valley - Santa Teresa West battle with a 11-6 record. In their last battle, Pioneer beat Lincoln (San Jose, CA), 67-58, in a league battle.
