California High School Basketball - Piedmont Hills edges Prospect

The Piedmont Hills Pirates (San Jose, CA) basketball nipped the visiting Prospect Panthers (Saratoga, CA), 49-43 in Friday's league test.

The Pirates (8-14) will now prepare for their test against Willow Glen (San Jose, CA). The Rams go into the Blossom Valley - Santa Teresa West test with a 12-10 record. In their last test, Willow Glen got by Westmont (Campbell, CA), 61-57, in a league test.

The Panthers now own a 9-13 record. They play next when they host Pioneer for a Blossom Valley - Santa Teresa West test on Wednesday, February 7. Prospect will encounter a Mustangs squad coming off a 52-35 league win over Lincoln (San Jose, CA). The Mustangs record now stands at 15-7.
