South Lakes Seahawks (Reston, VA) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Westfield Bulldogs (Chantilly, VA), 50-29 in a non-league bout.

With the win, South Lakes upgrades its record to 7-2 on the season. The Seahawks travel to James Madison (Vienna, VA) to clash with the Warhawks in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 23. The Warhawks go into the bout with a record of 6-2. James Madison lost 44-32 in their recent league bout against Oakton (Vienna, VA)

Next up, the Bulldogs clash with the Chantilly Chargers (Chantilly, VA) in a non-league bout, on Monday, January 22. Westfield will attempt to upgrade on its 6-4 season record. The Chargers go into the bout with a 4-4 record after their 56-37 non-league loss to Centreville (Clifton, VA).
