The Anchor Bay Tars (Fair Haven, MI) basketball crushed the visiting Utica Chieftains (Utica, MI), 62-35 in Wednesday's non-league test.
The Tars (5-2) will now prepare for their test against Utica Ford (Sterling Heights, MI). The Falcons go into the non-league test with a 8-2 record. In their last test, Utica Ford walloped Port Huron Northern (Port Huron, MI), 48-23, in a league test.
The Chieftains now own a 2-9 record. They play next when they host Romeo for a Macomb Area - White test on Friday, January 19. Utica will encounter a Bulldogs squad coming off a 39-31 league loss to Lakeview (St. Clair Shores, MI). The Bulldogs record now stands at 9-4.
