The Anchor Bay Tars basketball team scored 68 points and held the host Utica Chieftains to 54 in the Tars league triumph on Friday.

The Tars now sport a 9-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Utica Ford for a non-league contest on Tuesday, February 6.

The Chieftains (4-12) will now prepare for their contest against Romeo (Romeo, MI). The Bulldogs enter the Macomb Area - White contest with a 13-5 record. In their last contest, Romeo ran past Lakeview (St. Clair Shores, MI), 43-32, in a non-league contest.
