North Carolina High School Basketball - Hobbton ripped by Spring Creek

The Spring Creek Gators basketball team scored 65 points and held the visiting Hobbton Wildcats to 13 in the Gators non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Gators now sport a 5-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Eastern Wayne for a 2A Neuse contest on Friday, January 19. Spring Creek will battle a Warriors team coming off a 48-15 league win over Princeton (Princeton, NC). The Warriors record now stands at 13-1.

The Wildcats (0-10) will now prepare for their contest against Neuse Charter (Smithfield, NC). The Cougars enter the 1A Carolina contest with a 9-8 record. In their last contest, Neuse Charter was routed by North Duplin (Calypso, NC), 56-26, in a league contest.
