In Wednesday's non-league match, the visiting Staunton River Golden Eagles basketball team scored a good 46-36 triumph over the Liberty Minutemen.
In their next game, the Golden Eagles face the Lord Botetourt Cavaliers (Daleville, VA) in a non-league match, on Tuesday, January 23. Staunton River will attempt to move on its 13-1 season record.
With the defeat, Liberty moves to 9-2 on the year. The Minutemen host Brookville (Lynchburg, VA) to face the Bees in a non-league match on Friday, January 26. The Bees enter the match with a record of 3-4.
