The Mount Pleasant Tigers basketball team scored 42 points and restricted the visiting Albemarle Bulldogs to 31 in the Tigers non-league victory on Wednesday.
The Tigers now sport a 7-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to North Stanly for a non-league contest on Friday, January 19. Mount Pleasant will battle a Comets team coming off a 84-40 non-league win over Gray Stone Day (Misenheimer, NC). The Comets record now stands at 10-1.
The Bulldogs (1-8) will now prepare for their contest against Gray Stone Day (Misenheimer, NC). The Knights come into the non-league contest with a 0-9 record. In their last contest, Gray Stone Day was defeated by North Stanly (New London, NC), 84-40, in a non-league contest.
