The Albemarle Bulldogs (Albemarle, NC) basketball nipped the visiting Mount Pleasant Tigers (Mt. Pleasant, NC), 58-54 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Bulldogs (4-11) will now prepare for their test against North Rowan (Spencer, NC). The Cavaliers go into the non-league test with a 9-3 record. In their last test, North Rowan got by East Davidson (Thomasville, NC), 80-38, in a non-league test.
The Tigers now own a 8-8 record. They play next when they travel to Piedmont for a non-league test on Wednesday, February 7. Mount Pleasant will encounter a Panthers squad coming off a 39-23 non-league win over Central Academy (Monroe, NC). The Panthers record now stands at 6-13.
