The Abingdon Falcons basketball team scored 51 points and limited the visiting Gate City Blue Devils to 46 in the Falcons league triumph on Friday.

The Falcons now have a 5-6 record. They play next when they travel to Prestonsburg for a non-league game on Saturday, January 18. Abingdon will confront a Blackcats team coming off a 84-71 non-league loss to Phelps (Phelps, KY). The Blackcats record now stands at 4-6.

With the loss, Gate City falls to 4-5 on the campaign. The Blue devils host David Crockett (Jonesborough, TN) to confront the Pioneers in a non-league game on Saturday, January 18.
