The Gate City Blue Devils (Gate City, VA) basketball were winner over the visiting Abingdon Falcons (Abingdon, VA), 54-43 in Friday's league bout.
The Blue Devils now possess a 8-11 record. They play next when they host Lebanon for a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 25. Gate City will play a Pioneers team coming off a 67-59 league win over Marion (Marion, VA). The Pioneers record now stands at 16-10.
With the loss, Abingdon falls to 12-13 on the campaign. The Falcons travel to Cave Spring (Roanoke, VA) to play the Knights in a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 25. The Knights go into the bout with a record of 14-10. Cave Spring won 54-47 in their recent league bout against Blacksburg (Blacksburg, VA)
