North Carolina High School Basketball - Triangle Math & Science nips Ascend Leadership

January 17, 2025: Sanford, NC 27332

In Friday's league contest, the visiting Triangle Math & Science Tigers basketball team scored a close 55-53 win over the Ascend Leadership Aviators.

The Tigers (3-12) will now prepare for their contest against Clover Garden School (Burlington, NC). The Grizzlies come into the 1A Central Tar Heel contest with a 5-7 record. In their last contest, Clover Garden School was tipped by Woods Charter (Chapel Hill, NC), 46-33, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Aviators battle the Chatham Charter Knights (Siler City, NC) in a 1A Central Tar Heel contest, on Tuesday, January 21. Ascend Leadership will attempt to better on its 3-8 season record. The Knights come into the contest with a 12-8 record after their 73-25 league win over River Mill (Graham, NC).
