Gracemont Lions (Gracemont, OK) boosters left the game satisfied Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad nudge the visiting ASTEC Charter Comets (Oklahoma City, OK), 41-39 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Gracemont upgrades its record to 1-13 on the year. The Lions travel to Dover (Dover, OK) to face the Longhorns in a non-league match on Friday, January 31. The Longhorns enter the match with a record of 11-2.
The Comets now sport a 0-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Oklahoma School for the Deaf for a non-league match on Tuesday, January 21. ASTEC Charter will face a Bison squad coming off a 37-27 non-league win over Marie Philip (Framingham, MA). The Bison record now stands at 11-5.
