Georgia High School Basketball - Southwest held off by Bleckley County

January 17, 2025: Macon, GA 31206

In Friday's league test, the Bleckley County Royals (Cochran, GA) basketball squad got by the host Southwest Patriots (Macon, GA), by a score of 39-37.

Next, the Royals encounter the Monroe Area Purple Hurricanes (Monroe, GA) in a non-league test, on Monday, January 20. Bleckley County will attempt to improve on its 9-9 season record. The Purple Hurricanes come into the test with a 6-12 record after their 55-53 league loss to Oconee County (Watkinsville, GA).

The Patriots (14-2) will now prepare for their test against Westside (Macon, GA). The Seminoles come into the non-league test with a 9-6 record. In their last test, Westside held off Howard (Macon, GA), 52-39, in a non-league test.
