Georgia High School Basketball - Bleckley County trounced by Southwest

February 4, 2025: Cochran, GA 31014

The Bleckley County Royals basketball squad (Cochran, GA), was crushed 62-36 in Tuesday's league battle with the visiting Southwest Patriots (Macon, GA)

With the victory, Southwest advances its record to 19-2 on the year. The Patriots travel to Northeast (Macon, GA) to meet the Raiders in a A D1 Region 2 battle on Wednesday, February 5. The Raiders enter the battle with a record of 2-18. Northeast lost 74-52 in their recent league battle against Central (Macon, GA)

The Royals now own a 13-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host Central for a A D1 Region 2 battle on Thursday, February 6. Bleckley County will meet a Chargers squad coming off a 67-51 league win over Academy for Classical Education (Macon, GA). The Chargers record now stands at 10-13.
