The Cedar Mountain Cougars basketball team scored 57 points and limited the visiting Lester Prairie Bulldogs to 51 in the Cougars league triumph on Friday.

The Cougars now possess a 12-0 record. They play next when they travel to Windom for a non-league game on Saturday, January 18. Cedar Mountain will confront a Eagles team coming off a 88-81 non-league loss to Cedar Mountain (Morgan, MN). The Eagles record now stands at 7-8.

With the loss, Lester Prairie falls to 5-10 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Sleepy Eye (Sleepy Eye, MN) to confront the Indians in a A Section 2 game on Tuesday, January 21. The Indians go into the game with a record of 7-9. Sleepy Eye won 69-56 in their recent league game against Martin County West (Sherburn, MN)
