In Friday's league contest, the visiting Cedar Mountain Cougars basketball team scored a good 86-75 triumph over the Lester Prairie Bulldogs.

The Cougars (2-0) will now prepare for their contest against Gibbon-Fairfax-Winthrop (Winthrop, MN). The Thunderbirds go into the A Section 2 contest with a 2-1 record. In their last contest, Gibbon-Fairfax-Winthrop topped Lakeview (Cottonwood, MN), 64-59, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Bulldogs encounter the Sleepy Eye Indians (Sleepy Eye, MN) in a A Section 2 challenge, on Tuesday, December 10. Lester Prairie will attempt to improve on its 0-2 season record. The Indians come into the challenge with a 1-2 record after their 66-38 league loss to New Ulm Cathedral (New Ulm, MN).
