North Carolina High School Basketball - Chase routed by Patton

Patton Panthers (Morganton, NC) supporters left the game satisfied Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the visiting Chase Trojans (Forest City, NC), 83-59 in a league match.

With the victory, Patton advances its record to 6-10 on the year. The Panthers host Hendersonville (Hendersonville, NC) to face the Bearcats in a 1A/2A Mountain Foothills 7 match on Tuesday, January 21. The Bearcats enter the match with a record of 10-6. Hendersonville won 61-46 in their recent league match against Brevard (Brevard, NC)

The Trojans now own a 1-14 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to R-S Central for a 1A/2A Mountain Foothills 7 match on Tuesday, January 21. Chase will face a Hilltoppers squad coming off a 56-45 non-league loss to Chesnee (Chesnee, SC). The Hilltoppers record now stands at 8-7.
