Next, the Cadets clash with the China Spring Cougars (China Spring, TX) in a 4A Region III District 23 outing, on Tuesday, January 21. Connally will attempt to upgrade on its 15-10 season record. The Cougars enter the outing with a 12-13 record after their 62-43 league win over Robinson (Robinson, TX).

The Hornets (17-9) will now prepare for their outing against La Vega (Waco, TX). The Pirates enter the 4A Region III District 23 outing with a 10-2 record. In their last outing, La Vega got by Lorena (Lorena, TX), 50-45, in a league outing.
