In their next game, the Hornets encounter the La Vega Pirates (Waco, TX) in a 4A Region III District 23 challenge, on Friday, February 7. Gatesville will attempt to improve on its 19-12 season record. The Pirates come into the challenge with a 15-2 record after their 46-38 league win over Lorena (Lorena, TX).
