The Guyer Wildcats basketball team scored 56 points and limited the host Coppell Cowboys to 44 in the Wildcats league triumph on Friday.

The Wildcats now possess a 22-6 record. They play next when they host Hebron for a 6A Region I District 5 game on Tuesday, January 21. Guyer will confront a Hawks team coming off a 61-57 league loss to Marcus (Flower Mound, TX). The Hawks record now stands at 15-10.

With the loss, Coppell falls to 11-14 on the campaign. The Cowboys travel to Little Elm (Little Elm, TX) to confront the Lobos in a 6A Region I District 5 game on Tuesday, January 21. The Lobos go into the game with a record of 20-7. Little Elm won 47-36 in their recent league game against Flower Mound (Flower Mound, TX)
