In Friday's league contest, the host Dawson County Tigers basketball team scored a big 85-48 win over the Johnson Knights.
The Tigers (6-13) will now prepare for their contest against Greater Atlanta Christian (Norcross, GA). The Spartans come into the AAA Region 6 contest with a 13-5 record. In their last contest, Greater Atlanta Christian smashed Lumpkin County (Dahlonega, GA), 57-44, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Knights battle the Flowery Branch Falcons (Flowery Branch, GA) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, January 18. Johnson will attempt to better on its 1-13 season record. The Falcons come into the contest with a 7-12 record after their 70-51 league loss to Madison County (Danielsville, GA).
