The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Dawson County Tigers (Dawsonville, GA) and the host Johnson Knights (Gainesville, GA), observed Dawson County's basketball team overcome Johnson by a margin of 65-55.

The Tigers (1-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Greater Atlanta Christian (Norcross, GA). The Spartans come into the AAA Region 6 challenge with a 4-3 record. In their last challenge, Greater Atlanta Christian dropped by Lumpkin County (Dahlonega, GA), 68-66, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Knights battle the North Hall Trojans (Gainesville, GA) in a AAA Region 6 challenge, on Tuesday, December 10. Johnson will attempt to better on its 0-6 season record. The Trojans come into the challenge with a 4-2 record after their 74-55 league win over White County (Cleveland, GA).
